After a homeowner applies and receives a Prequalification ID, Saiyan claims the project, obtains the required permits, installs the upgraded electrical panel and dedicated 240-volt circuit, and submits the required documentation to Southern California Edison (SCE). This includes the itemized invoice, project photos, finalized permits, and inspection records. Rebate payment follows SCE’s review and acceptance of the required documentation.

Saiyan Electric helps eligible SCE customers in single-family homes prepare for Level 2 charging. For homes with panels under 200 amps, qualifying panel-and-circuit work includes a dedicated 240-volt outlet within 25 feet of off-street parking, excluding the charger and its installation. Income-qualified households may receive up to $4,200; disadvantaged-community households may receive 50% of eligible costs, up to $2,100. Homes with 200-amp-or-larger panels or sufficient existing capacity may qualify for circuit-only rebates: up to $1,000 for income-qualified households, or 50% of eligible costs up to $500 for disadvantaged-community households. Eligibility, approval, charger-installation commitments and funding limits apply.
